외국인과 영어로 대화를 해야 할 때, 계속해서 말을 이어나가는 것은 쉽지 않다. 대화소재가 떨어질 수도 있고, 상대가 하는 말을 알아들었다 해도 어떻게 받아쳐야 할지 모르는 경우도 흔하기 때문이다. 그럴때는 ‘육하원칙 의문사’를 활용하여 대화를 이어나가 보자.

주제 4 Do you like to read? 책 읽는 거 좋아하세요?
책은 좋은 대화소재이다. 어떤 책을 읽고 있는지, 좋아하는 작가는 누군지등의 소재로 계속해서 질문을 던지고, 대화를 나눌 수 있다. “책 읽는 거 좋아하세요?’라는 말로 대화를 물꼬를 터보자.
